Re: Be Very Careful
I have purchased several items including a MC-91A from this seller. The engine was not pristine, but for $125.00, it was a buy-it-now deal, and a is now rebuilt and one of the nicer engines I own. My opinion is this seller offers low priced deals on some of his items which are tired, and in need of ...

Re: Robron,inc (Rupp Karts) HOLIDAYS
Right back at you Ron, All the best from the Mendozas, Jay, Ben, and Bud. #6 is now showing the ropes to my twin boys, they drove it twice this year at Adams, how time flies. 2012 will mark our 8th year running your A-Bone. Dart Kart chassis. So far, it's been bullet proof, handles great too, and ju...

Mac 91C
OK, so there ain't no genuine MC-45Ds, it's a contrived MRC creation. but there is the mysteriouse MC-91C listed on the genuine McCulloch Corp IPL for the 91 series dated 1970. From what I can decipher from this document, it used a pressure pulse carb(straight bore) with the choke assembly, the same...

Re: Future of Kart Collecting?
Dave and Dan have some good points to ponder, and the question is also a good one. I too have kids, twin sons. They both drive a HumBug I had made from original parts Faye supplied to us. They love driving, and will be Kart fans. The way I see it, kids today are not so caught up in the collectabilit...

Re: 5 degree advance flywheel on Mc101
I have almost the same set-up as Jeff, twin MC-101A using 5 degree flywheels, Azusa exhaust, BDC- double pumpers for methanol, stock timing, stock ports & head, squish, 411 plugs, coil moved as far as it can go for maximum maveric advance. Dart twin A-Bone. Runs great!

Anyone remember Starley Riggs?
Starley was quite an enthusiast and engine tuner in karting in the 1960's. He had moved out to California from Ohio with his son's Steve and Bill, and one day while on his Honda Hawk 305, going to pick up pizza, he was killed a few blocks from his home by a drunk driver. That was about 1972. Anyway,...

Re: Lifting your exhaust port
One easy thing to always remember is more power requires that you must burn more fuel. More dissplacement is an easy way to get more power, as is artificial aspiration(boost, either super or turbo) and then there is oxygen releasing power ingredients, like nitro-methane, and nitrouse oxide! I always...
