Rich, I think that's about right (for gas). I've been running a TAD (O.K. let's find out what a TAD actually is) richer....16:1 is 8 oz oil to 1 gallon gas. I've been using 9 oz Klotz Super Techniplate to the gallon, but I foul plugs rather regularly, so I'm going to go to 16:1 or a TAD less. :D Oh...

Oil Gas Ratio for West Bend ???
Hey Guys...I run my Yamaha KT100 at 16 to 1 (Klotz Super) Is this too much oil for my West Bend 580 ??? Not really too sure what ratio to use...don't wanna foul any plugs

Hi Rich- Try running 18-20 psi in the front and 20-22 in the rear. That should be a good starting point. From there, you can fine tune it to your liking. A +/- 2 psi pressure differential seems to work well. In some cases you may have to exaggerate the differences to get the back end to break loose...

Tire Pressure Anyone ???
Hey guys...Any idea what tire (tube) pressure I should run with some 4.10/3.50-5 and 4.10/3.50-6 tires. They are mounted on 2 piece steel rims with matching tubes...Thanks everyone !!! Rich

Hello everyone,
I'm going to buy some new slicks for my kart and I was looking for some recommendations on what size tire I should use....should I stick with the stock sizes ??? Fronts are 3.40/3.00-5...backs were either a 4.10/3.50-6 or a 12 X 4.00-6.

Spark plug question West Bend 580
Does anybody know the correct brand and # spark plug I should be using on a stock West Bend 580 with points. It currently has a Champion # J19LM...it's seems to be burning nice and brown but the top (white part) of the plug is too fat for the boot....it's splitting the original rubber boot and falli...
