Re: Mac 49 help
The Mac 15 seems to have the same port config as the Mc49a, 2/2/2, but has the ribs and extra material. If you add a different intake and carb to a stock Mac 15 how does it compare to a Mc49a with the same intake and carb? Can the ribs and extra material be removed? How much difference does it make?...

Re: SAE kart frames
I don't have a kart, but I'm a vintage kart fan. No offense to anyone, but why SAE karts? Back in the day were they a better design, were they cheaper than the other karts? Were they homemade from plans available? They may be great karts but they just don't look as sleek and racy as the round tube f...

Re: NEED HELP IDENTIFYING THIS KART FOR CHARITY
I don't have a link or remember where I found these pics- I think it was a UK site. I looked for the site, but couldn't find it.
Here's more pics.

I've got pics of a kart that looks similar to yours. I think I got it off a UK kart site.

Re: McBob McCulloch Chain Saw's Downunder
It's not working for me. I click on the link above and go to the home page- then I click enter. On the right hand side, I don't see any kart engine links like there use to be. In the upper right hand corner it shows links to McBob's BP1, BP1 Registry, and Parts Breakdown.

I don't know if its still for sale or not, but I thought about checking on it. What type engines would be period correct for it? What do you think about it? http://louisville.craigslist.org/rvs/1502548259.html

Possible Vintage Kart!
I have a Southern Ill Trader "Show and Sell" paper dated Dec 19-25. There's and ad with two Honda XR 80's and a kart. It says $875 for all- I suppose kart too. The kart looks like it could be vintage to me- hard to tell the pics not too good. Its got the dropped front axle, its low to the ground and...

Custom Vintage Karts
I've never raced karts, but I love looking at the vintage karts. Back during the mid- 70's my local library had a vintage kart book, "Karting Handbook" I think. Seems like I remember one custom kart being made of titanium. I think the builder worked at an aircraft factory, so I assume he "borrowed' ...
