I have a lead on a vintage style kart a fiew hours away from my home. I would like to see if anyone can identify this particular kart for me, thanks for all the help.

Thanks to everyone for all the help. Got it all figured out now! Now I just need to get rid of the (dare I say it) honda gx200 and install a vintage aircooled 2 smoke engine!

Hi and Merry Christmas and a happy new year to you too! You are the perfect person to ask these questions. Do they or did they ever make clamp style engine mounts for the Rupp karts swing mount? They bolt to the front part of the swing mount using rubber grommets just like the fixed welded ones and ...

I think by "tatter digger" he means rototiller, lol. 5 hp briggs is a really common engine on a front tine tiller, I laughed too when I first read that!

Yeah I have talked with him before, nice guy and Its sweet that he has all the jigs and fixtures to make these karts again but I was hoping that someone could chime in and give me an idea on how to make one from scratch!
