That cover would be chrome over aluminum.The mag ones are painted.I tried to get a mag one chromed and the guy showed me by dunking mine in the tank for just a second that the mag reacts badly with the plating solution.

I remember that there is a list somewhere of what manufacturers used what models of tilly carbs.Anyone out there have an idea where I could punch that up? I'm looking thru my tillys and I want an hl gas carb good for an MC 92. Thanks in advance,

Although I would not use this for a super nice kart,greyhound buses are a low price alternative.I have had success there.( I hope I don't jinx myself though.
