Okay, thanks for the info.
I guess I'll just kind of "clean it up" and see where it ends. I'd just like to restore to a point where someone can have a fun kart to run around in.

Re: Can you ID this for me?
Apparently this was a 1966 Rupp A-Bone. Now that it's stripped I'm looking for dimensions and pictures of what I need to do to bring it back to what it's supposed to be. Anyone have pictures of a bare frame? The white painted parts appear to be larger diameter tubes slid over the original ones then ...

Can you ID this for me?
Went out to do some on-site work on a commercial mower and ended up dragging this home. Looks 70's to me but unsure.
Any ideas?

Lawrence

Mac 250 Pwer Head
83cc, runs great. This is a saw engine so figure you're going to have some work to do. Can include almost complete other engine for parts. (AFAIK the crank is dead) Ship any way you want from 83860. $150

Re: Caretta Frame
I'm trying to locate the flat bits that hold the front of the engine mount verticaly.
Seat back location is set already.
Unless I can put the mounts where ever they work the best?

Caretta Frame
I'm working on this Caretta and had to replace the seatback frame. Unfortunately the front engine mounts/chain adjuster brackets had been repositioned through the years and I can't figure out where exactly they are supposed to be welded. I can guess but If anyone can help with this I'd appreciate kn...

Re: Caretta ID?
Got the parts back from the platers last week and thought I'd post a few pics. My goal was to try to reproduce the original finish but the place is geared toward Pebble Beach concours resortations...and with all the pitting it was hard to atain originallity.
