Re: Rupp Super K info wanted.
Yes the Junior is an entry level package. Knobby tires, steel wheels, and no frame mounted gas tank. It is advertised at $219.50 with Clinton A-490.

Re: Rupp Super K info wanted.
Maybe a Super K Junior This one came out shortly after the final version of Super K and before the A-Bone. Does your kart still have the 1/2" steering shaft? I dont remember seeing the Junior having that large two gallon frame mounted tank behind seat. To post pics, scroll down and click Attachments...

Re: Kart ID help
After a closer look of your kart, I was totally wrong. I guess your kart is a much later model Bird than ones I am usually checking out. Way past the rear engine racing time period. From a glance it looked to me like a Blackhawk, until comparing them side by side. My bad.

Re: Kart ID help
That kart in your garage looks like a Blackhawk, not made by Bird Engineering. The kart ID in question, I dont think is a Bird. It does appear to be a racing kart. But uses the steering wheel commonly seen on Bird karts. One thing that sticks out is the side rails for seat. They appear to be origina...

I can see a rear caliper in two of those pics. Most likely a Palmini. Guess you will be getting more than expected is still equipped.

Re: Kart Identification help
It does look a lot like Bug. But more pictures would really help to make 100% sure. If nothing more than seeing all what you got there. Cloeups are always appreciated. I like looking at other peoples before projects. Sometimes there is something somebody could see somewhere on the kart that is of so...

Re: Help I’d my dads old kart
Is the rear brake caliper on that odd looking kart sand cast or die cast with fins?

Re: Identification of kart
After closer examination of pics, I can see the components are also mostly Azusa. Including spindles, steering wheel and shaft, wheels, motor mount plate and sprocket hub. What I have seen people do in the past is bolting the rear axle bearing flangettes on both sides of bearing hangers. They are co...

Re: Identification of kart
This is an interesting kart. But a Clark most likely is not. The Clark does use a lot of Azusa components. It also has narrow steering hoop. Rear bumper is a wrap around piece of tubing, not like on a Dart. There are very specific Dart style components on this kart. Pedals are Dart, used from 1961 a...
