Hi ya Bob, the 49 is a 80cc, maybe the variants could have been 87cc kinda like how the 250 saw is a 80cc but the super was 87cc. Other than that I'm in the same boat as you and also want to learn more about these motors as I have a couple. The MC-49s weren't raced in Australia or here in New Zealan...

I must admit I could make something similar from photos, but I want to make a repro ;) Good question about the style, I had something in my head thinking everybody else knew what it was :D the mount I have been thinking about is the angled mount bolting to the motor by the stuffer bol...

McCulloch steel engine mount

I've been looking around for one, but after postage to NZ the price goes crazy, so I have decided to make one, I'm a fabricator so this is no trouble for me, if anyone has one could you please make me a scetch with acurate demensions :oops: I would consider it a big favor.

Hi guys I need a early McCulloch manifold(s) that will feed the third port, preferably with reed plate and reeds, I am not too fussy with the reed condition as I could make them if I had to.
