Re: What a weekend

What a great weekend!!! It was a blast pitting with you guys and getting to know you. I learned Power Products engines can really run with the right mods....very impressive!!! I bought a Rupp Dart from Mark "Lumpy" from NY and scored a 91A in nice shape at the event that will make Sherry's new kart....

WTB - Margay Gearbox Dry Clutch Housing for Mac

Does anyone have a Margay box Dry Clutch Housing for Mac they can sell? I was going to drill my oil bath housing, but decided I shouldn't drill holes in a good vintage part. Thanks.

Re: TBO Event

It was another great TBO weekend. It was great to see everyone. Great karts and great people. It was nice meeting Roger and the Santee boys at the banquet. They are both fine young men and it was equally fun getting passed by the youngest Santee who drove the wheels of his Dart Kart lap after lap. H...

WTB Rupp Feather Touch Pedals

I'm looking to buy a pair of Rupp Feather Touch Pedals for my '62 Dart Roadrunner Restoration. These are the wire pedals with no rubber on the ends and the linkage rods through the flattened part of the wire pedals. I'll be at TBO if anyone can help. Thanks.

Re: Lancer Orange Color Code

Hi Scott, I'm not sure what the color code is, but I'll bring you a color swatch to TBO. It's a powder coat swatch, but it was a perfect match to the original Lancer orange that was left on my frame. It's pretty much right on. I might be able to get the powder coat code or you can use the swatch to ...

Thompson isn't that far from me either. I would try to make it as long as I don't have a work conflict.

Re: Replace DXL clutch with Max-Torque

The Max-Torque is a shoe clutch which is vintage in design and appearance. It's not quite the leap to a disc clutch. Shoe clutch=vintage in my opinion. I have Max Torques on my 101s and they work great so far. I think it's a great improvement of a vintage part by a company that has been there from t...

Re: VIDEO - dual rear karts at TBO 2011...

Awesome! The photo and video documentation is an invaluable tool for anyone doing a vintage kart restoration. It's great to refer back to the images to see how something should be or to get ideas. Finding the REAR site and seeing Jeff's video of George Sellon's dual Chaparral is what got me involved...
